Pole-aroid: How to plan for your instant shoot with KEP

While this is only a theme we offer on certain occasions, Pole-aroid has very quickly become a beloved event day at the KEP studio. Not only do you get the fabulous KEP experience at a lower price, but you get to take your photos home with you on the day!

However, given the nature of this event, it is important you come prepared so that you know what to expect on the day.

What shapes should I plan?

Given that this is an instant event, we highly recommend choosing simple poses that will fit into a square frame within the set. As the images are printed on the day, we cannot edit any additional set into the image, so you will need to stick to that space. You will benefit from making the most out of your time with simple poses instead of complex shapes.

What's included in my shoot?

Your booking includes time to shoot and time to choose, and you will go home with up to 10 polaroid photos on the day. What's more, you will get digital copies sent via email a few days later!

How long do I get?

To get the most out of your shoot, you will share one hour with another client. You are more than welcome to book with a friend if you don't wish to be paired at random. Just let us know who you booked with!

Your shoot time consists of the following:

• Up to 40 minutes shared camera time (if you get 10 poses before this time, you get more time to select your images)

• 20 minutes between you to choose your favourites (we will help with this process).

• If you decide you don't want all 10 poses, here's an idea! If you are serving face/body in any particular image and you fancy a close-up version of the shot, we can print that for you as well!

What happens next?

Lacey will then take over while you unwind! Using our KEP presets, we will quickly edit and print your chosen photos in real-time so that you can take them home with you. This process will take approximately 30 minutes. So, you can sit back and relax, or you are welcome to take yourself for a coffee nearby while you wait (did we mention that Withington is THE place for cafes?) Your digital copies will be emailed to you later in the week when we are back on admin.
